This world has many doctors who heal physical wounds ailments. However, there are not enough who heal the soul along with the physical pain. Dr. Harris Shahzad is one such rare individual who is blessed with the intricate expertise of his chosen specialty along with a personality that makes his patients feel so at ease that half their pain (which is associated with the stress of the problem) just eases with a consultation. The way he holds their hands talks to them, one can see the stress melting away and they put their trust in him. I believe this is the true power of a healer.

When it comes to technical expertise, I have seen him work his magic on the microscopic intricacies of the human eye and what he does is nothing short of miraculous. I have seen him bring back light into the world of those who were told by others that they had no hope. Dr. Harris Shahzad has an unshakable faith in Allah and He guides his hand to brighten up people’s lives & their hearts. My family has been going to him for years and when it comes to our vision, we trust no one but him because he has proved himself to be worthy of being called the best.

“I was diagnosed with severe myopia when i was in class 3. I had been going to school, and till the day I put on my glasses it had all been a blur. I remember seeing my parents faces for the first time.

I lived 40 years of my life in-between what most people would call blurry vison and a blur. 

When I started using my fathers surgical glasses as reading glasses in order to write a prescription I did not recognize that I had a problem. 

When I stopped reading my children their bed time stories because it was always so dark around me I still did not realize there was a problem. 

Its the day when my son came to me to show me his owie and I couldn’t focus on it that  I realized I had a problem.

From the prep to the anesthesia I was led through in the most professional manner I was told all details of the next step and so on. Its when I lay down on that table that I realized no one else could’ve done this surgery. It had to be him. 

He knew the responsibility and the sheer importance of restoring sight to people. This was a surgeon who did this day in and day out because he understood the implications of lack of the ability to see.

The procedure went smoothly, recovery was just as unhindered. I promised him a sketch of what I saw during the procedure which I still haven’t got down to making…soon.

I won’t forget how beautiful and vivid the colors were all the while listening to the calm voice explaining and detailing the alterations in form.

After an entire lifetime of glasses, contacts, eye exams, bullying at school for having coke bottle glasses. Dr. Harris Shahzad was the conduit through whom I was able to read to my children again, kiss their owies and look into their big beautiful eyes.

Dr. Harris Shahzad and Shahzad Eye Clinic were recommended to my mom by her acquaintances for her cataract surgery. I had accompanied her there for the consultation and procedure. Dr Harris came across as a professional and highly competent doctor. He allayed all her fears, inspired confidence and she was treated with the utmost care pre-and-post surgery.

Later, I developed cataract. It would take years to develop fully but it was getting to be very taxing dealing with glasses especially as I work in the field of Education. Dr Harris advised me to opt for Trifocal Lens to obtain a better quality of life instead of waiting for the condition to gradually worsen.

At that time I knew of no one who had these particular lens implanted. I did the relevant research and proceeded with the surgery. My experience with Dr Harris and his staff was exemplary. Moreover, the follow-up checkups were handled with the same professionalism and care. Regaining my once-perfect eyesight feels like being given a new lease on life.

Based on the success of my procedure, several of my friends were encouraged to undergo this surgery and report good experiences.
